About

An engineering studio, not an agency.

We would rather ship a smaller thing that survives contact with production than a large thing that demos well.

Our story

We started because handoffs kept breaking things.

The pattern was always the same: the app team blamed the API, the API team blamed the infrastructure, and the client paid for the argument. We built a studio that owns all three layers, so there is nobody left to point at.

That constraint shaped everything since. We stay small and senior because the decisions that matter — data models, service boundaries, what to migrate and what to leave alone — are made in the first few weeks, and they are expensive to get wrong. Those weeks get our most experienced people, not our most available ones.

We also decided early that our job is to become unnecessary. Every engagement includes documentation, tests, and time pairing with your team. If you cannot run the system without us a month after handover, we did the work badly — regardless of how well it performs.

How we operate

Four things we will not trade away.

These are not aspirations on a wall. They are the reasons we turn work down.

  • Small teams, senior people

Every engineer on your project has shipped and operated production systems. No layer of juniors billed at senior rates.

  • Boring where it counts

We pick well-understood tools for load-bearing decisions and save the novelty for places where it genuinely wins.

  • Built to be handed over

Documentation, tests, and CI are part of delivery. Your team should be able to run the system without us in the room.

  • Direct and early

If a deadline is at risk or an approach is wrong, you hear it that week — not in a retrospective after the fact.

Want to see whether we fit?

A short call is usually enough to tell. If the work is not right for us, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
